1920s Men's Brown Leather Lace Up Monkey Boots

Sold Out

Product Details

These boots are made with very thick, supple leather. They have been well worn, nicely broken in and taken care of. At some point in time (long, long ago-very likely by the original owner) the boot tops/calves were replaced. When looking at the photos you can see the seam above the ankle. The boot tongues were also replaced with soft suede at the same time. The repairs are professionally done and strong. The repairs make this pair of boots very unique. There is a lot of soul in these guys, they have many years of life left in them! Inside the boot tops is a size 12 stamp, it does seem to be accurate as the measurements are comparable to a men's size 12 (please double check the measurements). It is rare to find boots from the era this large.
