1940s Gilbert Adrian Black Wool Coat with Asymmetric Red Stripe

Sold Out

Product Details

This coat is incredible! Black wool with an asymmetric red stripe across the front. The top of the coat closes with a hook and eye to keep the stripe lined up. Medium padding in the shoulders for that great 1940s silhouette and incredible construction! Diamond seams at the waist with in-seam pockets and a lovely V shaped seam down the back. Lighter weight wool would be good for autumn or a mild winter. An extraordinary, wearable coat for any collector!

Condition Details: Very Good - There is a small fade mark to the lining of the hem and a small reweave repair to the skirt on the wearer's left. These issues are very small and not visible when worn, please see the images provided. This coat presents beautifully!
