Product Details

This listing is for one cape. Textile is unmarked, feel like cotton lace. This beautiful cape is a mixture of ivory and white lace. These are in the guipure style which is a type of bobbin lace that connects the motifs with bars instead of mesh or net. Very lovely floral theme throughout. The embroidery in the white sections is very thick. Two layer collar and a sweep of more than seven feet.

Condition: Very Good - The binding over the inside neck seam has some small holes and a there is some discoloration on the collar, on the back of the cape near the middle and an area on the back near the bottom where the bars that connect the white embroidery has been torn. These issues are minor, the cape presents beautifully overall. This is an absolutely gorgeous piece!
