1940s Tan Rayon Crepe Dress with Full Flower Corsage

Sold Out

Product Details

The colors of this 1940s dress are gorgeous - the back of the belt matches the orange of the flowers, and the green topstitching is echoed in the interior trim. A really lovely piece! The textile is unmarked, rayon crepe, in tan and is very lightweight. This dress is unlined with short sleeves, smocking at the waist, and a straight style skirt. The belt is detachable, and the flower corsage is sewn in but could easily be removed. There is fading over the shoulders and on the sleeves, and multiple small spots of discoloration on the front and back of the dress. Despite these flaws, this is a beautiful dress with lots of life left!
