1940s Black Velvet Coat with Sequin Hood

This is a lovely lightweight coat, suitable for autumn or spring. Black velvet, swing style, with a single button at the collar. The body of the coat hangs loosely from the shoulders with an open front. The hood is nicely structured and has decorative sequin work around the face. Sleeves taper at wrist with a French Cuff. Fully lined in ivory. A very unique piece, straight out of a fairytale.
