This 1920s dress is in breathtaking condition considering its age - imagine how beautiful the reflective nude would look by evening light!
The textile is unmarked, black silk, and is lightweight. This dress is sleeveless with a straight fit through the body and a drop waist. The under layer is a reflective nude (it has shine), and the over layer is black in alternating sheer and lace panels. There is beautiful lace gathering on the wearer's left side, with a small embroidered "brooch" and a lace bow. The hem is a full circle and is pleated in alternating sections of sheer black and black lace.
There are some small marks to the under layer, as well as subtle armpit stains and water marks - these issues are not visible when worn. There are some loose threads, and in some places the thread color has faded to brown (this is normal with age). There is one small hole in the lace on the front, near the wearer's right hip. This dress is an absolutely beautiful condition!
