Small 1960s Black & White Formal Dress

Sold Out

Product Details

This listing is for one dress. The textile is unmarked Ottoman taffeta in a moire pattern. Flirty and fabulous, long black and white dress. Empire waist bodice has a large box and criss-cross straps. The black and white panels on the full maxi skirt have a sweep of 20 ft.! This is just an adorable and fun formal dress in strong condition to be worn.

Condition Details: Very good - There is a subtle discoloration and two faint grayish marks on the front of the skirt at the wearer's left about 20" up from the hem. There is a large watermark, about 10"x2", in the back right cream panel. It starts about 9" above the hem and hides in the fullness of the skirt well. Ther is a smaller watermark, 1"x1", at the hem of the same panel. There are subtle overall inconsistencies in the color of the cream areas of the skirt, but these are hidden by the fullness of the skirt and the moire pattern. The straps have faded over time from black to a burgundy shade. The dress is very strong and presents very well!
