Native American Inspired Suede Leather Dress Bohemian Beaded Fringe Festival Jacket

Product Details

This is an incredible piece, inspired by Native American designs, hand made and one of a kind! The suede is very high quality, lightweight, thin and supple. Many of the skins are left natural, with the jagged, uneven edges of the hide adding character and texture to the garment. Fringe is hand cut in several areas, in others it is tied on. Faux turquoise beads, metallic leather and whipstitch decorate the garment. Some of the fringe has dangling aglets that jingle as they move. The front of the garment closes with leather loops and buffalo head nickel buttons. There is an additional hide attached to the back that hangs loosely away from the garment across the back and sleeves, almost like a small cape. This piece could be worn as a tunic or jacket. Be aware that the front does not close completely, there is an open gap under the button loops that will reveal skin. My guess is that this was made by a Native American artisan, the quality is incredible, but there are no labels or signatures on this garment, so I cannot be certain.
