Product Details

Classic black velvet evening gown with a huge sweep (and POCKETS)! This dress is a sleeveless style and is low cut under the arms with a curved v-neck. The bodice is gathered above the waistband to accommodate the bust. Wide waistband curves, like an upside down U shape, under the breast. Small pockets in the skirt are deep enough for a lipstick, credit cards, extra cash. The skirt is longer in the back than in the front and VERY full with a 20 foot circumference. Label is located inside the dress skirt, sewn into the front center seam, 16" above the hem.

There are a few small holes throughout, not visible when worn, you have to hold up the skirt and view it from the inside to see them. This is the nature of silk velvet and to be expected. There is one small hole (3mm), on the left hip in front of the zipper, this will not be visible if a black slip is worn or if you have dark skin. There is a small repair in the skirt, not visible when worn and to be honest, I can't even find it again to explain where it is. This is a gorgeous piece that presents beautifully!
