1940s Gray Wool Swing Coat with Beaver Fur Trim

Sold Out

Product Details

This coat is an absolutely beautiful example of 1940s outerwear! The textile is unmarked, gray wool with a brown rayon crepe lining. This coat is heavy weight and good for winter wear. There is beaver fur trim at the neck, sleeve cuffs, and hem. The pelts behind the neck are starting to deteriorate (where the stitching is) - they have been repaired, but they are weak and stress will pull them apart. Overall beautiful construction!
