This extraordinary dress is from the famed Marshall Field & Co 28 Shop! Textile is unmarked silk, bodice lining is tagged acetate. Strapless style is lightly boned in the bodice for stability. Pleated shelf bust, fitted bodice and waist, full skirt. The skirt has netting in the hips for fullness and is completely lined in interfacing so it lays beautifully. The entire dress is beaded in 3 dimensional white flowers with rhinestones and sequins. The flowers are beaded in a way that makes them stand up, away from the dress by a few millimeters. I have found one missing rhinestone and a bit of dust at the hem. This is a once in a lifetime dress, simply stunning!
