A lovely, formal skirt suit with unique jacket closure. The textile is flecked, like shantung silk, but it is a cotton rayon blend. The collar is black satin. The jacket is nicely tailored with a fitted waist. Peak lapels are set high on the shoulders and the jacket closes with a piece that is similar to a hair comb, it slides through slits to hold the jacket closed. Thin shoulder pads are under the lining. Hip pockets. The back of the satin collar has a small wear spot. The skirt is very short, straight/pencil style, fits snuggly to the hips. The skirt closes with buttons and button loops up the left hip.There is a slit behind the right leg for ease of movement. Lightweight, a great summer suit.
