Large 1930s Navy Blue Dress

Sold Out

Product Details

This listing is for one dress. The textile is unmarked but feels like silk. Beautifully constructed navy blue dress! Unique draped neckline. The long sleeves have darts at the inner elbow, and ruching at the button cuff. The waistline has asymmetrical seams and a ruching detail on the wearer's right side. The dress was too large to fit the mannequin properly. This garment has no closure and the upper body MUST FIT through 38" waist!

Condition Details: Very Good - There are small pin holes on the bodice of the dress and a few small repairs or support stitches below the neckline where it appears something that was sewn on to the bust was later removed. This could be easily covered by a corsage. Dinginess at the collar, front and back. There is an area of discoloration on the front left of the skirt from just below the knee to the hem. Some discoloration visible on the back at the hem, just left of center.
