XXL 1940s Green Long Dress

Sold Out

Product Details

This listing is for one dress. The textile is unmarked but feels like rayon. Lovely, sage green, long dress. Bodice has a v-neck and smocked, padded shoulders. The Magenta flower at the bust could easily be removed. The waist is nipped in at the waist by a matching belt. The dress has a two-layered peplum. A matching shift goes underneath the gown. Still in strong condition to be worn.

Condition Details: Very Good - The dress is discolored down the center of the dress to the wearer's right of the seam. Large area of discoloration on the wearer's left at the hem from the front slit to beyond the side seam. Lines of fading on the back of the skirt near the seams. The matching slip has some discoloration under the arms, subtle spots on the bodice and again further down the skirt and at the hem, and other large discolorations on the back below the wearer's left arm and further down the skirt. These would not be visible when worn under the dress.
