XS 1940s Black Velvet Opera Coat Juliet Sleeves Pussybow

This classic, black velvet opera coat has dramatic Juliet sleeves! Fully interlined, it's a nice fall/spring weight. The coat closes with a scarf-like tie at the collar, the body of the coat is an open, clutch style. The skirt moves and billows beautifully as you walk, simply lovely!

Condition: Very Good
Condition Details: The coat was double lined, with cotton interfacing behind the silk. The silk lining is heavily shattered and the back panel is completely gone, the cotton interlining is visible and in nice condition. One interior tie is not original. A small tear has been repaired at the wearer's left collar where it transitions into the collar scarf and may be partially visible when worn, but is not obvious. This coat presents beautifully!
