1940s Gold Brocade Coat with Mink Fur Trim

Sold Out

Product Details

This is a stunning brocade coat in a golden pale yellow. The textile has a nice finish that has a subtle sheen. Poofed shoulder, princess sleeves taper at the cuff. This coat is fitted through the waist and flares a bit at the hem. The large, dramatic collar is trimmed in mink fur. This coat is fully lined in off white nylon. There is a layer of insulation between the nylon and brocade, feels like cotton batting. The lining is slightly frayed at the hem, not visible from the outside and not noticeable when open either, it is just on the very bottom of the lining itself.

There is a small stain on the front of the coat, 7.5" below the button loop. It is tough to see unless you are looking for it due to the reflective nature of the brocade. It may be a water mark, you can only see it on the pattern of the brocade, not in the background. I have more images available. Please double check the length as this is a very long coat.
