1940s Two Piece Skirt Suit with Asymmetric Jacket

Sold Out

Product Details

One of the most beautiful skirt suits I've seen, absolutely stunning! This set includes one top and one skirt. No label, this set is likely homemade. The textile is unmarked, rayon brocade in black with green floral shapes. Two floral shapes on the chest have discoloration and some watermarking between them, images available. The top has a square neckline and button front. The dolman sleeves have gussets under the arms. The top is fitted at the waist with a large, draped piece that wraps around the hips and closes at the waistband with hook and eyes (one hook is missing). The hem of the top is asymmetric across the front and ends with a large, gathered sash that wraps around the left hip. Incredible draping! The skirt is straight/pencil style. Pieces look great together, but would also work very well as separates. A very unique and elegant set!
