This jacket is extraordinary! Single layer sheer black silk is decorated with swirling casalguidi embroidered shapes surrounded by small black beads. Formal evening style has hook and eyes from the collar to the waist and hangs open below the waist. Large slits on each side (approximately hem to knee) allow for ease when walking. Striking design, absolutely stunning!
Condition Details: Very Good-There is some stressing to the silk from the weight of the beads, most notably across the shoulders, this typical of beaded silk garments and not a flaw, but should be noted. There is a small nick in the silk from where the label was attached behind the neck. The beads are strong and intact, there may be a few loose beads that we have missed, this is normal and to be expected. This piece presents beautifully!
