1910s Edwardian Evening Dress

Product Details

Own a piece of fashion history with this beautiful Edwardian dress! The textile is unmarked, a top layer of silver and black mesh with an under-layer of shiny ivory fabric. This dress has short, sheer black mesh sleeves, gorgeous gunmetal gray metallic sequin and beading details, a weighted belt, and a long skirt. This dress is entirely hand-sewn. Elastic has been added to the sleeve cuffs, but this could easily be removed. There is discoloration on the front of the dress, but this is hidden by the black mesh skirt panel. There is one split in the mesh on the wearer's right sleeve, right past the shoulder seam, and a repair behind the right arm. The belt is missing two snaps, there are faint underarm stains, there are large repairs at the hem, and minor nicks to the fabric throughout. This dress is wearable if worn carefully, but it is in delicate condition.
