1920s Sheer Black Dress with Layered Skirt

The textile of this dress is unmarked, black, and is sheer and lightweight. This dress has long sleeves with fabric covered buttons at the sleeve cuffs, a rounded collar, a drop waist, and a layered skirt. The original black color is slightly faded due to age, so in some lights this piece takes on more of a brown shade. There are areas of wear to the fabric and minor discoloration on both the front and back of the dress, and each sleeve cuff is missing one button. Considering the age of this piece, these issues are very subtle and this dress has lots of life left!
