1940s Black and White Print Dress with Sheer Overlay

The textile of this dress is unmarked in a black and white abstract print and is very lightweight. This dress has short sleeves, a fabric belt at the waist, and a straight skirt with a sheer black overlay. Please note that parts of the dress hem do fall below the black overlay, but this could be altered if desired. There are areas of discoloration on the bodice, in the armpits, and at the hem of this dress, as well as some white spots on the black overskirt (see images). Structurally this dress is in wonderful shape and is a unique piece with lots of wear left!
