The textile of this dress is unmarked, black velvet. This dress has padded shoulders, long sleeves with zip sleeve cuffs, a fitted waist, and a straight skirt. There are fabric belt loops but no belt. The sleeves have sheer mesh inserts that are trimmed with beads and sequins. There is one spot of loose beading on the wearer's left sleeve (see images), but this is very subtle and this dress presents beautifully.
There may be loose or missing beads/ sequins that are not noted. This is typical of beaded/sequined garments and to be expected.
