1940s Black Wool Dress with Velvet Detail
The velvet around each button adds great detail to this 1940s dress. This is a wool dress in black with black velvet under each gold button. This dress is a button up style with a snap and hook/eye closure at the waist, made to be worn with a belt. There is a fold over collar, shaped shoulders, and gathers above the bust on each side. The sleeves are 3/4 length, and the hem has been let down. There is a 1" seam separation under the right armpit, and a small 1" separation at the seam behind the left armpit, fabric is intact. As Is.
