1940s Glamorous Red Cape
The textile of this cape is unmarked, red. This cape has tan appliques and rhinestones across the shoulders and has two slits for the wearer's arms. There is a small moth hole inside the wearer's right sleeve slit, darkening below the wearer's left shoulder, moth nibbles and small repairs down the wearer's left arm, and one missing rhinestone on the back of the cape. There are water stains and tiny holes in the lining, and the lining is slightly loose around the top of the wearer's right armhole. There are also minor moth nibbles throughout, but none of these issues affect the overall look and wearability of this fantastic piece.
