1940s Long Day Dress with Scallop Details
$500.00
Product Details
I love how the plaid fabric of the bodice is used in the scallop trim on the skirt of this 1940s dress! The textile is unmarked, white and red and white plaid, and is lightweight. This dress is unlined with short, petal sleeves, a sweetheart neckline, and a long skirt. There are two spots of discoloration on the back of the skirt (see images), one dark mark near the edge of the wearer's left sleeve, and some fraying to the scallop trim on the skirt, but these issues are subtle and this dress is in beautiful condition for its age.
