1940s Men's Four Piece Black Pinstripe Suit Double Breasted & Button Fly
This is a double breasted black pinstripe suit. There are 4 pieces total: 1 Jacket, 1 Vest, 1 pair of button fly pants, one pair of zip fly pants. Jacket- Peak lapels, shoulder pads, 4 buttons on sleeve cuffs, 6 button double breast closure, no vent, partially lined, 2 convertible pockets and one chest pocket, buttonhole and various edge repairs present. Vest- 4 pockets, 6 buttons, buckle-back adjustment. 2 pair of trousers- 1st pair: Button fly, small repairs to legs and pocket openings, provisions for suspenders present, waistband with dropped belt-loops, flat front, cuffed, slight fade/wear on stripes in front. 2nd pair: Zippered, small repairs to legs and pocket openings, provisions for suspenders present, waistband with dropped belt-loops, pleated front, no cuffs.
This suit shows many signs of wear and repair- if you are seeking a flawless and perfect ensemble, this is not for you. If you need additional photos, please ask, we have many. The repairs are not obvious and without close observation the suit looks fantastic. All repairs were made in the era, they are not modern repairs.
