The textile of this dress is unmarked, purple taffeta, and is lightweight. This dress has thin straps with a square, beaded neckline, a boned bodice, a slightly dropped waist, and a long skirt. There is a fake flower corsage on the back of the dress and panniers underneath the dress on either side to provide shape to the skirt. This dress has multiple areas of discoloration, heavy overall color fading, and one large tear in the skirt (see images). This piece would be great for study or costume purposes and is being sold as-is.
