Product Details

This set is a show stopper! Bright red rayon crepe dress with matching jacket. The dress is sleeveless with wide straps and a a gathered bust. Bias cut skirt drapes beautifully over the hips with a huge sweep of over 16 feet! The jacket is slightly fitted at the waist with a zip front. I've never seen a zip front on a dress jacket this old and it's a beauty. Gold tone zipper pull stamped "Kover-Zip" with a fabric covered metal zipper. The jacket is detailed with hand sewn sequins and gold tone metal thread in loops around the collar, zipper and hem. This piece does have a few issues to note: The jacket has a few small pin holes, the largest is over the left breast and measures about 1mm. The dress hem is spotted throughout from wear, discoloration is slightly darker than the red and not obvious when worn. I tried to show the worst of it in images. Overall this set presents beautifully, it's strong and ready for another night on the town!
