1940s Silk Dress with Velvet Faux Lace Back
How beautiful is that velvet lacing on the back of this 1940s dress? This is an off white silk dress with a gorgeous black print. There is a rounded V-neck on both front and back of the dress. The back dips a bit lower and has velvet ribbon criss crossed across the opening. The velvet ribbon seems to be added at a later date, but I am not positive. There is some slight armpit discoloration. There is a tiny, pale blue mark at the center waist. This is a very tough to see due to the print and not noticeable when worn.
