1950s Navy Blue Gabardine Skirt Suit with Shaped Hips & Weighted Hem
Sold Out
Product Details
This suit is absolutely gorgeous! Textile is dark navy blue gabardine and quite heavy. Definitely fall/winter weight. The construction and tailoring are superb, extremely high quality. The jacket has thin shoulder pads, button front, rounded collar and a fitted waist. The sleeves are extra long and slit down the side. The slits allow the wearer to fold over cuffs to whatever length necessary, made to accommodate a woman with long arms. Measurements below are for the shortest cuff to the longest with no cuff. Jacket is shaped and weighted over the hips with large hip pockets. Decorative embroidery on the sides of each chest pocket and each hip pocket. Skirt is extra long, straight, with a kick pleat. One of the nicest suits I've seen in a long time!
