This 1950s dress is gorgeously constructed to reveal layers and layers of beautiful floral detail. The textile is unmarked, black silk, with gorgeous floral embroidery on the bust and skirt. This style is strapless with a pleated bodice, fitted waist, and full skirt. There is a hidden panel in the front of the skirt that opens to reveal more floral detail (see images). There has been a professional repair to the zipper cover panel, and this dress is in wonderful condition.
