1980s Karl Lagerfeld Purple Wool Midi Dress

This is a gorgeous dress by Karl Lagerfeld. The textile is very soft wool twill, year round weight. Color is a rich eggplant purple. Long, dolman sleeves, loose fitting bodice, princess waist and a full skirt. Logo buttons from collar to hem. The shoulders and sleeves are meant to be a bit loose fitting, there is a button cuff to keep the sleeve from falling over your hand. Elegant, feminine style is comfortable and conservative. There is one small flaw, please see image above. Underneath the button panel there are hook and eyes to assist in keeping the garment closed. One hook has torn from the garment leaving a hole. This is not noticeable when worn as it is hidden under the button panel. The price reflects this issue.
