Late 1960s Bonnie Cashin Sills Bohemian Tweed Separates with Leather Trim
Autumn separates in wool tweed with leather trim. The textile is a stunning, textural woven tweed in a geometric pattern. Colors are shades of brown with pink and red. The tweed weave is loose and chunky, the pieces are unlined, but the textile is thick, suitable for fall and winter wear. The jacket is loose fitting and has a shawl style collar. It looks a cross between a cape and a coat, it closes with a belt like a wrap. From the armpit down the jacket is split on each side, the top of the split has attached belt loops. The belt runs underneath the jacket behind the back to cinch the front waist while leaving the back loose. The belt shown does not match the suit and is not included. The skirt is straight style with a side zip. Both pieces are trimmed in brown leather.
