Extraordinary 1930s Green Sequined Evening Gown

Product Details

This dress is incredible! Head to toe hand stitched sequins are attached to knit and backed in sheer netting. Slim sleeves come to a point over the back of the hand with button cuffs, measurement below is taken from the shortest part of the sleeve, without the point. Elegant neckline, fitted bodice and a full skirt. The skirt is a couple of inches shorter in the front and creates a small train in the back. Please note, this dress is not in mint condition, but is strong and very wearable. There are a few sequins missing on the bust, please see photo. The side zip was added at a later date, it is not original to the garment, it was done nicely and works well.  The net lining is shredded under one arm, this is not visible when worn and doesn't affect wearability. Due to the age and hand made nature of the garment, there are a few loose threads and some small repairs. Some of the sequins are not as shiny as others, some have oxidized a bit. Nothing that detracts from the overall look or wearability of the garment. The sequins are remarkably intact and strong, this dress still has many more nights out left!
