Extraordinary Chanel Black Cashmere Princess Coat with Clover Buttons

The princess coat to end all princess coats! Styles of the 1950s came back in the 1980s fashion scene in a big way and this coat is a stunning example! Soft, rounded shoulders with full dolman sleeves. Paneled bodice is fitted at the waist and flows seamlessly into the skirt, there is no waistband. Gold tone buttons with four leaf clovers are signed Chanel on the back. Large pockets over each hip help accentuate the fullness of the skirt. Front panels lay in two pleats below the pockets. The back has a removable belt with buttons and 4 large pleats below the waist that move beautifully as you walk. Coat shows very slight wear around the button holes from the buttons rubbing against the fabric. Too slight to show up in images, but it should be noted, not visible when worn. Fully lined in black silk. Incredible construction and tailoring, everything you would expect from Chanel!
