Product Details

This smoky blue cotton velvet dress has an incredible neckline! It used to have a panel at the bust, but it was lost long before we got our hands on this beauty. The dress is embellished with very unique and tiny steel cut beads at the neckline, the sleeve cuffs, front sash and sailor collar. The sleeves are belled and split at the cuffs. The cuffs, sash and collar are lined in the most incredible green and yellow silk. A stunning piece!

Condition: Good
Condition Details: Velvet is discolored significantly overall, especially across the shoulders. There are several nicks in the velvet of the skirt and sleeves, and a small dark spot on the wearer's left sleeve, and another at the center front skirt at the hip line. The interior of the dress has faded in areas as well.
There was an insert in the front of this garment at some point, but it is no longer there. The silk has a small shatter at the seam, and a dark spot on the underside of the front skirt drape, not visible when worn. Overall, this dress presents well, it is strong and wearable with care.
