Product Details

This listing is for one dress. The textile is unmarked silk. Gorgeous, special, magical 1920s Wedgwood blue dress with beautiful Art Deco beading. Shiny, small, cylindrical black beads criss-cross the garment in large squares, and smaller floral motifs around the neckline, down the sleeves, and around the hem. There are panels of peach silk with abstract beading inside linked together on the bodice, skirt and repeated on the back of the dress. Two side ties emphasize the loose fit and excellent movement. There is an attached silk lining. It may have some flaws, but there is no denying this dress's spectacular nature.

Condition Details: Very Good: The garment is strong and wearable, with lots of original details in great shape. There is a good deal of discoloration around the neckline. s stain under the wearer's right arm, some spots down the front from bodice to to about middle of the skirt. Some slight discoloration at the hem. There is a small hole in the skirt just below the waist on the wearer's front right, and three more on the middle back just below the waist. The design and craftsmanship is exquisite!
